Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 at Lovelace Women's Hospital, a 120-licensed bed dedicated to women's health located in Albuquerque, NM.

As the Food Operations Manager, you will support the patient dining program and retail operations prioritizing patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will ensure food quality, daily patient meal rounding, and demonstrate professional communication skills with a passion for creating a positive patient and guest experience. The successful candidate will:

  • lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program and retail operations;
  • manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors;
  • coordinate department safety and sanitation;
  • ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks;
  • engage with employees and promote an inclusive culture;
  • rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
