Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2for Medstar Harbor Hospital located in Baltimore, MD. This facility is a 135-bed acute care hospital serving Southern Baltimore area. Medstar is focused on caring for patients and their loved ones utilizing advanced technology under the guidance of expert clinicians. Incentives
Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-330pm OR 11:00am-7:30pm every 5th weekend rotation (may vary based on business needs)

What You'll Do
The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and will have direct oversight for three retail outlets including a coffee shop, gift shop and cafe. This position will provide support up to 20 frontline associates. The Operations Manager will also assist the patient services department using the "At Your Request" (AYR) patient dining services program.

What You Bring
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate leads and frontline staff;
- deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)
- develop strategic plans;
- ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
- have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;
- create a positive environment; and/or
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
