Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 for Uniontown Hospital.
Uniontown Hospital is a 145 -bed acute care Community Hospital in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Today, the 145-bed facility employs over 1,000 individuals and is utilized by more than 200 medical staff representing more than 30 medical specialties. In February 2024, Uniontown Hospital was named an Achievement Award Winner by The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) in recognition of the organization's efforts to engage a workforce around a common purpose: patient safety.

Responsibilities will include:
- working with unit financial/budgets,
- strategic planning,
- HR functions,
- training and development of both a management and hourly staff,
- ensuring HACCP compliance,
- direct client interaction and supervision of up to 40 employees.

The ideal candidate:
- has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
- has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
- can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
