Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management division is seeking a Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician II to work with a highly recognized medical facilities group across The Greater Bay Area and surrounding areas. This is a remote role that allows you the flexibility to work from home when you are not traveling to sites.
Willing to travel to multiple sites in The Greater Bay Area with the possibility of some overnight requirements.

The main role / responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skills as well as strong technical skills and commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.
Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Account Manager/Site Supervisor and other senior technicians, inspects, repairs, maintains and calibrates a comprehensive range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. A Field Service BMET II possesses the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a broad range of clinical inventory devices. Participates in and conducts on-the job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices related to General Biomed such as: Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems, Alaris pumps, EKGs, Defibrillators, and ESUs. (not all are required).
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
