Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an Executive Chef 4 to join our team at a potential new sale in Foster City, California. The Executive Chef 4 is responsible for maintaining kitchen operations, implementing culinary systems, inventory management, as well as training and developing employees while ensuring food safety.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for Chefs who:
- have a strong all-round culinary ability with artistic culinary flair; able to cook multiple styles of cuisine: sushi, indian and latin highly preferred;
- possess superior craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including; main courses; salads; sauce work;
- recognize and react to contemporary trends; constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole;
- play a key role in mentoring culinary personnel and kitchen staff, elevating their skills, overseeing daily production to high standards of quality/presentation and on trend menus, and ensuring safety/sanitation;
- are responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What We Offer
Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
