This Catering Executive Chef 4 will be a highly motivated and energetic executive chef to lead the athletics catering culinary team at The University of Texas Athletic Department. This is a high profile position with great visibility within the organization. This is an event based role with events ranging from Premium Club catering at home UT Football games to off-site receptions and plated dinners. We work directly with the Athletics Department to execute premium catering in suites, clubs, and special events. This position will report to the Senior Executive Chef.

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
