Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 3 at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, a 378-bed hospital committed to providing the highest-level of patient satisfactionlocated in San Antonio, TX.

The Executive Chef 3 will be a strategic leader overseeing kitchen operations, inventory management, managing food costs and budgets, ensuring food safety by conducting audits and following HACCP guidelines throughout all production areas, and meeting client satisfaction while implementing business practices in order to uphold commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement. The ideal candidate will be a culinary leader who understands kitchen operations with experience working in a healthcare environment.

  • a proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
  • ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP;
  • C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
