Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a hands-on Executive Chef 2 to join our team at Daikin in Waller, TX. The food operation consists of 3 cafes, 3 coffee bars, micro-markets and catering operations. Reporting to the Campus Chef, the Executive Chef 2 will oversee culinary operations for the main cafe and Starbucks. The main cafe has 6 stations (action/exhibition, deli, grill, main entree, salad bar and global station).

Please note that Daikin is 24/ manufacturing operations, so while this position offers a traditional Business & Industry, Predominately M-F schedule, our ideal candidate must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends when needed.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the culinary management team to manage all aspects of food preparation, product handling, equipment utilization, and food safety.
- Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting;
- Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented;
- Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
