Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at one of our High Profile accounts in Chesapeake VA!. The current food landscape consists of 1 corporate cafe that serves Breakfast and Lunch only,
1 Micro-Market, and catering operations.
The Executive Chef 2 will be the lead culinary person for the operation. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Menu planning
- Ordering
- Inventory
- hands on about 80% of the time
- Food and Labor cost
- Leading and developing a team of 13 hourly employees with the GM
- Safety and sanitation
- Ensuring quality and presentation of food
- Catering production to include high end board of director lunches and other special events

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Must be flexible to work early evenings when needed. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
