Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Jamaica, NY. This 424-bed, Level I Trauma & Stroke Center has been recognized as one of the leading hospitals in Queens New York, proudly serving their diverse community healthcare needs.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- provide exceptional nutrition care to patients inpatient units;
- be part of the eight inpatient RD team and work rotating weekends and holidays providing full hospital coverage;
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process;
- be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

- Registered Dietitian credential, or who are RD-eligible;

What We Offer

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
