Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian for PIH Health Hospital-Downey (PHDH), a community-based hospital with 219 inpatient licensed beds situated outside the Los Angeles, CA area. PHDH is part of PIH Health, a 3 system regional nonprofit healthcare delivery network. Each campus services a different patient population and offers specialized practices. PIH Health is a growing and expanding enterprise.

What You'll Do
- In this role, the selected candidate will provide nutritional care on the inpatient units with a variety of inpatient;
- work a regular schedule Tuesday through Saturday;
- perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
- educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses
- provide documentation in the Altera program for all campuses (prior experience in this program or the ability to learn quickly).

What You Bring
- A Registered Dietitian credential;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
