Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Inpatient Registered Dietitian to join our UCHealth Southern Region Dietitian Team, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Southern Region includes Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, and Grandview Hospital which is ~600 beds.

Memorial Hospital Central has a Level 1 Trauma designation along with other national certifications including stroke, cardiovascular and orthopedic care.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with experience in acute care and/or long-term nutrition care (nutrition support experience preferred);
  • Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units;
  • Educate health care team member, including physicians and nurses; and food service staff;
  • Work a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
