Sodexo is seeking a Multi-Location / Multi-Account Controller for our healthcare business segment in the St. Louis, MO area for the SSM Health System.
This position is a hybrid
You will be able to work partially remote, however, will be required to be in-office weekly and will include travel in the St. Louis, MO and Southern IL region to meet with our General Managers, Client Executives and clients. Candidate must live in the St. Louis area.
The Controller position will oversee the finances for 24 cost centers for food and environmental services operations at 13 hospital locations in Missouri and Southern Illinois. Approximately ~$60-80 million in managed volume. The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results for both Sodexo and our Client.

The successful candidate will:
- manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reconciliation of the activities of current and future contracts as assigned per contract terms;
- conduct monthly analysis of financial performance of clients or contracts assigned;
- work with Supply Managers and National Account Executives (NAE) to ensure all client volume is being received;
- interact with all levels of management including NAE of each program, Regional Account Managers, corporate finance, Financial Service Center personnel as well as with the external clients for the contracts the analyst manages;
- conduct client or contract specific reporting and analysis;
- conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
- manage all accounting and financial matters including accounts payable/receivable, budget, payroll, reporting, inventory, chargeback's, etc.;
- be responsible for accounting and financial reporting;
- build, analyze and forecast account budget(s);
- perform financial analysis to assist in decision making and client presentations;
- provide financial training for unit management personnel;
- generate monthly amendments, reconcile purchase orders and invoices, process equipment add/delete forms;
- manage equipment contracts and field service reports, research device codes and coverage costs;
- track capital expenditures and monitor compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
