Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Design and Construction Project Manager II in Midland, TX who will become a key member of Sodexo's Design and Construction management team at one of our largest energy accounts. What You'll Do
- Primary project leader for execution teams on assigned projects, develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.
- Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and / or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Performs associated cost estimates, prepares proposals and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance.
- Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to management as required.
- Manages risks and executes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation.
- Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques.
- Manages the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
- Coordinates with his or her supervisor for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives.
- Develops cost estimates and sub-contractor scope documents and solicitations for bids.

What You Bring
- 5-7+ years of project management experience
- Proven ability to manage internal and external client expectations related to requirements
- Strong ability in using technology to demonstrate and promote programs
- Proficiency with project management software desired (MS Project, Smartsheet or similar solution)
- PMP or CCM certifications

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
