This Continuing Care Retirement Community is located in the Harrisonburg Metro area in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The successful candidate will:
- oversee daily kitchen operations, to include meal preparations for both menu and buffet style dining;
- focus on the leading the culinary team and prioritize building Resident relationships;
- exhibit creativity with both culinary and food repurposing skills;
- handle food ordering and inventory;
- perform functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development;
- exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- prior 2 years of food service; experience in a senior living environment a plus;
- prior management experience, with excellent time management and training skills;
- excellent leadership, time management and communication skills;
- strong customer service skills to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily.
