Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Resource Chef Manager to join our team at Benjamin Moore in Flanders NJ! The Current food landscape consists of Cafe with 4 stations, free coffee service in the cafe and small catering operation. This location serves Lunch only and is a Free Lunch program for the employees. We feed approximately 150 people per day.

Resource Roles are temporary assignments for up to 1 year with the possibility of permanent placement. Resource employees are covering for Managers that may be out on vacation, workman's comp, FMLA. or Extended LOA. In addition, Resource employees can immediately post to permanent positions immediately after being hired.
Incentives
M-F schedule 6am to 3pm no weekends, limited evenings
What You'll Do
The Chef Manager will be the number 1 on site and the chef for the business. Under the direction of the Area General Manager, the Chef Manager will be responsible for producing the entree and soup for the cafe. In addition, the Chef Manager will be responsible for:
- Menu Planning
- Ordering
- Inventory
- Managing a team of 4 hourly employees
- Maintaining an existing budget
- Hands on about 75% of the time
- Catering production
