Role Overview

Sodexo is hiring for an Area General Manager to oversee food service operations at two locations for Holy Family Hospital in Metheun, MA and Haverhill, MA.

Holy Family Hospital, a partner with Lawrence General Hospital, is a 310-bed full service, acute care hospital with two campuses located in Methuen and Haverhill, Massachusetts. Both locations provide comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatients, and 24.7 emergency services, including eICUs, behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry and critical care service lines. The Haverhill campus offers all private rooms and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and joint Center of Excellence named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day food service operations for both locations
  • deliver high quality food service through supervisory and frontline staff
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • create a positivework environment to allow team members to exceed customer/patient expectations
  • ensure Sodexo and hospital standards are met

What You Bring

  • a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience
  • culinary production experience
  • strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • ability to manage multiple priorities,
  • demonstrate professional communication skills and experience maintaining and fostering strong customer and client relationships
  • a passion for a high level of customer service
  • proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
