Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking an Area Clinical Nutrition Manager for Ohio. This position will primarily cover the Cleveland area but could travel to any Sodexo location in Ohio. The Registered Dietitian in this position can expect a lot of variety in their work! You will cross-cover for vacancies or time off in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, as well as in clinical leadership roles. You will also work on policies, regulations, and survey preparation.
This is a hybrid role with a home office traveling at least 60% of the time. All travel expenses are reimbursed.

What You'll Do
- Provide nutrition care for a variety of patients in inpatient, outpatient and community settings
- Cover clinical leadership at Sodexo units in Ohio as needed
- Advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility
- Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
- Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
- Maintain high standards for regulatory bodies
- Education to medical staff, dietetic interns, and students

What You Bring
- Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base
- Strong experience in inpatient acute care and outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy
- Proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
