Snowflake is looking for a Strategic Events Coordinator (6 months contract), based in London. As a Coordinator, you are mainly responsible for supporting multiple events across the year and will require you to multitask on a daily basis. You will collaborate closely with a variety of individuals and teams as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive outlook and a natural curiosity to learn and to explore. An ideal candidate would have had previous experience in organising events, supporting Field Marketing, or a similar role.

The Strategic Events Coordinator is responsible for Snowflake's most impactful events in EMEA reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Events - EMEA. This role will work closely with internal Snowflake stakeholders and execute an incredible on-brand experience for our core Snowflake event franchises in EMEA.

VALUE OF THE ROLE
  • In conjunction with Global Brand, deliver a perfect brand experience at our core event franchises in EMEA and at external third party conferences.
  • Coordinate customer travel arrangements using Snowflake's internal travel booking system
  • Arrange the courier and distribution of promotional merchandise and equipment to various events across Europe
  • Support multiple events at any given time so must be able to stay organised and multitask
  • Managing and maintaining the scheduling of meetings for multiple execs - sending calendar invites, tracking all requests to change meeting time/place/attendee, ensuring all details are up to date and accurate at all times
  • Work across multiple European countries, with a strong operational focus and a hands-on attitude in a high pace organization and environment
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet stakeholder expectations
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project and task assigned
  • Researching costs for swag, venues, entertainment and supplier management
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including marketing teams, speakers, sales, delegates
  • Creating event collateral, microsites, templates and processes to facilitate event organization
  • On site management and delivery of events
  • Supporting the events team in post event processes and event analysis

Skills And Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of basic B2B events and their objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver INSANE ALIGNMENT with sales
  • Excel/Google Sheets
  • Salesforce
  • Marketo
  • Wordpress
  • Canva or other design programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative mind-set, ad-hoc problem-solving and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • A willingness to travel and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication to stakeholders
  • Ability to lead/motivate a team and agencies/vendors.
