Reporting to Snowflake's Senior Director of Commercial Strategy, EMEA. This newly created role sits at the intersection of Snowflakes product/platform roadmap, our customers data strategy and Snowflakes key performance metrics. As part of the finance organization, the priority of the role is to develop comprehensive commercial solutions to support the long term success of our customer data strategy, aligned to Snowflake's priorities.
We are seeking a driven, well rounded team player to join our team to play a crucial role that works closely with the sales organization and Snowflake's key customers in helping to design, develop and deliver a customer centric Commercial Framework and value proposition that promotes the ongoing adoption and expansion of the Snowflake data platform.

Your primary duties will be:
- Co-lead the development of Commercial Strategy and proposals for Snowflake largest customers.
- Collaborate with Sales / Services / Product and Partner teams to develop and deliver our use case driven Framework and solution architecture model..
- Integrate the clients current and predicted Usage Map (consumption) to underpin a comprehensive Commercial proposal supporting the customers long term technology aspirations.
- Produce and co present formal terms of reference (term sheet) capturing the economic value and value proposition through the customers lens and serve as a point of contact for contract negotiations, in support of the Sales team.
- Support the negotiation process with financial details underlying the term sheet.
- Lead the financial modeling for Snowflake EMEA's Global and Strategic Account proposals including:
- Integrating the key elements of each proposal into a comprehensive view of the all-in economics,from both the customers view and Snowflake's internal view, that supports the term sheet/proposal.
- Co-Build, with the sales team, the internal investment thesis and internal business case supporting the commercial proposal whilst ensuring alignment with Snowflakes key performance indicators.(Revenue, Margin and Cash flow)
- Support the development of multi-year proposals including detailed financial modeling aligned to clients building on Snowflake.
- Co-Build the internal customer investment thesis and internal business case supporting the commercial proposal whilst ensuring alignment with Snowflakes key performance indicators.(Revenue, Margin and Cashflow)
- Collate Best Practices and learnings from customer engagements to assist in the development and evolution of both the Commercial strategy and tools required in scaling and alignment to future business strategy and roadmap developments.
- Lead the financial analysis of Snowflake's unique consumption based pricing launched in
FY2024 - Track and manage pipeline of Key opportunities for the EMEA Global and Strategic accounts.
- Be a trusted finance business partner and have the skillset to build a strong partnership with the Global Sales organization, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance, and such other duties as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
Successful candidates will have a strong working knowledge of accounting, finance models, IT procurement process and business case modeling. Previous experience in IT / Cloud services will be extremely helpful to be able to get closer to the customers motivations and drive well rounded conversation
