The Snowflake Data Clean Rooms team is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who will focus in our DCR API environment. In this role you will work with customers who have a need or desire to work in a more technical environment to fully realize the potential of Snowflake Data Clean Rooms.
Customers can now seamlessly combine and analyze data from different parties using the easy-to-use UI or work with clean rooms programmatically using developer APIs. With the developer APIs, a technical audience can build custom applications and customize analysis templates and ML models.
As a Snowflake DCR Sales Engineer you must share our passion about the Snowflake ecosystem and platform, thrive in a dynamic environment and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done. You are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
- Present Snowflake DCR technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
- Built technical workflows and customized solutions that intersect the DCR product with the customer's needs
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake DCR APIs throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing
- 7+ years of experience within a technical environment
- Strong experience with Snowflake is required, including Snowpark, experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Ability to connect a customer's specific business problems and use cases to the Snowflake DCR Solutions
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $203,800 - $283,500. The estimated base salary for this role is $152,850 - $212,625.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
