The Principal Program Manager, Data & Analytics Office will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and scalability of the Data & Analytics organization at Snowflake. This leader will be responsible for executing high-impact cross-functional programs, establishing governance frameworks, and embedding change management practices to ensure data consistency, reliability, and alignment across the enterprise.

As a key influencer within the organization, this role will drive harmonization of data practices, enforce metrics alignment, and ensure the Data & Analytics team operates as a unified, high-performing function. This highly collaborative position interfaces across diverse data teams and business units, making it ideal for someone with a strong strategic mindset and operational execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Strategic Programs and Change Management
  • Oversee and optimize strategic programs across the Data & Analytics organization to enhance the influence and impact of data on business decisions. This includes:
    • Data Governance and Metrics Consistency: Implement governance models to drive consistency in metrics definitions, enforce change management practices around metric adjustments, and ensure alignment across teams.
    • Snow on Snow: Scale and optimize internal Snowflake-on-Snowflake programs for the data team to maximize the value of data in customer engagements and internal operations.
    • Documentation and Best Practices: Standardize reporting methodologies and BI tool usage for internal and external stakeholders, creating clear frameworks and documentation to promote transparency and accessibility.
    • Internal Customer Feedback: Oversee mechanisms such as NPS surveys, beta testing, and user studies to gather insights from GTM, Finance, and Data teams, fostering continuous improvement and engagement.
    • Hiring Consistency and Efficiency: Develop scalable, standardized hiring frameworks that promote consistency and operational excellence across all data teams.
    • Dependency Planning and Data Contracts: Own and manage inter-team dependencies by formalizing data SLAs and contracts, ensuring seamless collaboration across Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams.
    • Customer Zero: Drive initiatives for the Data & Analytics team to serve as early adopters ("Customer Zero") of Snowflake's internal products, facilitating feedback loops and product enhancements.
    • Training and Tool Standardization: Ensure uniform training and adoption of BI and analytics tools across the organization, fostering a consistent and repeatable data-driven culture.

Drive Operational Efficiency and Scalability
  • Establish and refine operational cadences, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure programs are scalable and repeatable, minimizing reliance on ad-hoc execution.
  • Develop change management protocols for new tool rollouts, metric changes, and process updates to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
  • Implement KPIs to measure program effectiveness, track operational maturity, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior data leaders, providing insights and frameworks that enhance organizational efficiency and accountability.

Foster Collaboration and Alignment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Product, Marketing, and GTM, to align data initiatives with broader company objectives and ensure cohesive program execution.
  • Facilitate cross-team workshops, drive consensus on data and analytics priorities, and establish forums for ongoing knowledge sharing.
  • Lead communication efforts to ensure program goals, milestones, and impact metrics are clearly articulated and well-understood by stakeholders at all levels.


About You
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, data operations, or related fields within a technology or data-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data governance, metric standardization, and change management practices at scale.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex programs and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven approach to program execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing leaders and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Passion for building scalable processes, embedding governance models, and promoting operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, engineering workflows, and BI tools is preferred.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments with dynamic and evolving data needs is a plus.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
