The Executive Communications Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our executive communications practice, driving strategic messaging across internal and external audiences. This role is responsible for helping to develop comprehensive communication strategies that elevate our brand narrative, enhance executive visibility, and align with our company's goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, excellent writer, and collaborative partner with a strong background in communications and corporate positioning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Messaging: Develop and implement communication strategies that effectively convey the vision, priorities, and key messages of the executive leadership team across various platforms, including speeches, presentations, blogs, social media, and internal communications.
  • Content Development: Craft high-quality, compelling content for a range of formats including talking points, briefing documents, video scripts, and thought leadership pieces that align with company objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • External Speaking Engagements: Evaluate and prioritize event participation for our executives. Collaborate with the PR and marketing teams to identify and manage speaking opportunities, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning of executives in interviews, panels, and public appearances.
  • Internal Communications: Partner across departments to enhance internal communications, crafting messages that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.
  • Social Media: Support executive social media communications strategy with content and activation ideas.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, PR, HR, and other cross-functional teams to align messaging and communication efforts.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Track and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data and insights to continuously refine and improve executive messaging.

  • Proven experience writing for senior executives, with the ability to capture and amplify their voice across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into clear, concise messaging.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of professionalism, with the ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines with a positive attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive communications, public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
PREFERRED SKILLS :
  • Strong understanding of communications channels and industry priorities
  • Ability to create executive level content and presentations
  • Social media proficiency and expertise
  • Experience in the software or technology industry
  • Familiarity with media, PR, analyst, and technology industry influencers and events

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $113,000 - $152,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.


The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
