We’re looking for a Sr. Creative, Art to join the Marketing team at Snap! As a member of the Creative Marketing team, you will help the Creative Lead to develop day-to-day creative from concept to execution on projects relating to Spectacles and Snap Lab. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll partner with designers, writers, strategists, producers, marketers and other curious minds, working hand in hand with other creatives to craft world-class creative work for Spectacles and Snap Lab.

What you’ll do:

  • Elevate the brand awareness of Snap Lab hardware products by connecting the dots between your cultural curiosity, creative tenacity, and goal-oriented mindset.

  • This position is Hands on Design. Develop designs, sketches, work in collaboration with agencies to provide feedback and craft a work if needed.

  • Inspire, guide, and motivate a team of designers to craft thoughtful and impactful creative.

  • Utilize your storytelling skills to present creative concepts and executions to marketing, product, and business leadership in a cohesive and compelling fashion.

  • Work closely with strategists and marketers to understand campaign performance and utilize learnings to improve future work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience generating high-impact, culturally relevant creative

  • Vast experience in consumer products communications

  • Storyteller, possessing excellent creative, presentation and problem-solving skills, as well as an eye for small details and a passion for big ideas

  • Comfortable of both designing or giving design direction on the projects

  • Highly curious, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong desire to learn  

  • Passion for technology and critical points of view on its impact on people’s lives 

  • Understanding of today’s cultural landscape and how people engage with marketing

  • Ability to empathize with others and manage feedback with grace

  • Experience distilling disparate sources of information into actionable inputs 

  • Experience articulating simple and compelling presentations 

  • Understanding of creative, design and marketing processes 

  • Conscientious and detail oriented

  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset 

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Cultural trend watcher. Aware of creative community trends. Music, Design, Art, Video.

  • High-impact, culturally relevant creative portfolio with vibrant, eye-catching, smart work

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 6+ years of experience as an senior designer or art director or similar role

  • Expertise in video: generating film concepts, storyboards, overseeing edits, animation, and music edits

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Google Suite expert, specifically Google Slides

  • Proficient in Adobe CC, specifically Premiere and Photoshop

  • Experiences in Cameras, Wearables, Product Marketing, Fashion, Luxury brands.

  • Experience working with large organizations with complex processes.

  • Experience in creative management of external remote teams
