We’re looking for an International Tax Senior Manager to join the Snap Finance team! You’ll play a key role on our Tax Operations team, leading our US International tax matters and collaborating with other groups within our tax and broader finance teams to support our global tax planning, accounting and compliance functions
What you’ll do:
Work with internal team members and external advisors to identify and implement key international tax planning initiatives
Manage US international tax compliance (5471’s, 8858’s, etc.) for Snap’s international subsidiaries
Support M&A and investment activity, including due diligence, structuring, integration, and compliance
Support Snap’s tax policy engagement on various international tax matters
Support transfer pricing analysis, country by country reporting, and the calculation of intercompany adjustments
Research complex tax issues and legislative changes
Support the global quarterly and annual tax accounting process
Manage international tax controversy issues as they arise
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of complex international tax concepts such as Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing, and M&A
Must be able to operate effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment
Must have a strong work ethic and be able to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
Detail oriented with strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communicator with desire and ability to build relationships
Great attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent years of experience
7+ years tax experience in Big 4 public accounting firm, corporate tax department of multinational company, or combination thereof
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in taxation, CPA, and/or JD
