The Content & Partnerships team is responsible for the design, development, and execution of strategic initiatives, with a focus on driving product innovation, content creativity, and audience growth.. The AR Platform Partnerships team’s vision is to grow Snap’s AR ecosystem by attracting, engaging, and supporting developers and ensuring that they are successfully building AR with Lens Studio.The team helps protect the long-term health of this ecosystem by constantly balancing the interests of AR creators and developers, our platform products like Camera Kit, consumers, content creators, and Snap.

We’re looking for an AR Partnerships Manager, Arts & Culture to join Snap Inc! As a member of the AR Platform Partnerships team, you will manage the executions and delivery of AR partnerships that impact Snap’s growth across art and cultural institutions, galleries, and museums. These partnerships will support testing new products and features, processes, scalability, and more at Snap, Inc.. You’ll collaborate with our cross functional teams such as Global Brand Strategy, Camera Platform, Strategy, and Snap Lab to bring business value through AR technology initiatives with partners.

  • What you’ll do:

    • Handle partnership agreements and success management of art institution and museum partners 

    • Evangelize Snap’s AR innovation efforts inside of museums, art galleries, cultural institutions, or companies

    • Work cross functionally at Snap to bring art and museum and cultural partners early access to tech and features by effectively communicating and managing the relationship with these partners and developers working on the project

    • Develop strategies to manage the production timelines of external partners working with Snap on delivering Lenses

    • Help create systems to ensure these partners are generating business value through AR technology initiatives 

    • Manage information flows and act as a subject matter expert to external partners and monitor the success of partners working with Snap’s AR ecosystem

    • Support in the discovery of new Arts and Culture partnership opportunities and advise as a subject matter and industry expert on incoming requests

    • Act as a translator between tech, business and cultural teams, helping to break down new technologies and terminology

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

    • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners

    • Strong analytical skills which allow for creative methods to achieve results and solve problems cross functionally

    • Agile mindset with proven people and resource management skills

    • An enthusiast who has a strong passion for the future of AR/VR 

    • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environment

    • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

    • BS/BA degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience 

    • 8+ years of experience in management 

    • 5+ years of experience working with art companies, cultural institutions, galleries, or museums

    • 5+ years of experience with production timelines and operations with external developers or partners

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in managing projects with interactive development schedules

    • Working understanding of 3D engine software like Lens Studio, Unity and/or 3D modeling and animation software like Maya
