We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Spam and Abuse team, you will prototype, develop and productionize technical solutions to ensure that only approved applications can interact with our platform. Working from our Yverdon-les-Bains office in Switzerland, you will be tasked with solving interesting technical challenges in the mobile application security domain, architecting and deploying Spam and Abuse client side defenses but also infrastructure to handle our scale and making our platform safe and secure for millions of Snapchatters.

What you’ll do:
- Develop Snapchat mobile security features
- Enumerate attack vectors on the mobile application, identify weaknesses, and provide technical solutions to address the gaps
- Build tools and services that support the broader Spam & Abuse mission
- Collaborate with other parts of Snap Inc. in need of mobile security expertise
- Assist with Spam & Abuse or Security incidents as needed
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Solid foundation in application security
- Strong ability to reason about mobile app security problems
- Ability to do production quality software engineering
- Passion for learning and helping others
- Excitement for user privacy and security
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor in a technical field such as Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a security or software engineering role
- Strong development knowledge with a proven track record in developing production quality software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience doing Android or iOS development
- Professional experience doing backend development, bonus if it was in Go
- Ability to build secure code in C/C++ as a bonus
- Experience working with large-scale spam and abuse defenses as a bonus
- Skills in analyzing and organizing technical data
