We’re looking for a Security Software Engineer to join the Production Security team!
You will collaborate with teams across the company to build solutions that safeguard Snap’s production systems and build the security fabric of a modern, massive scale production platform for one of the world’s largest multi cloud environments.

Develop and deliver on strategies to harden Snap’s multi cloud (AWS and GCP) production infrastructure.
Design and implement solutions that manage access to production data and resources and orchestrate security and privacy controls across its infrastructure.
Conduct in-depth security reviews of new production platforms and services, and build tooling for a secure development lifecycle.
Evaluate technical tradeoffs with security and user privacy in mind
Be a champion for security and user privacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field
3+ years of software development and infrastructure security experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Development experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, Python, and/or Javascript
Security knowledge of one or more team-relevant domains and technologies: Kubernetes, container, OS, CI/CD, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Identity and access management, Role based access controls (RBAC).
Experience in designing and building identity and access management systems
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience working with distributed systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
Work record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
