We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join Snap as a member of the Corporate Security team. Working from our Los Angeles or Mountain View offices, you’ll collaborate with engineers from many disciplines to design and implement secure and usable corporate infrastructure for our employees.
What you’ll do:
Develop security strategy and policies for business-critical services and SaaS applications for Snap.

Review and provide architectural guidance for infrastructure systems, user lifecycle, fleet management and integration of business systems and automation.
Improve security review and consulting processes with runbooks and automation.
Develop systems and tools to improve the security properties of Snap’s corporate identity and access story.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent years of experience.
Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: vulnerability management, risk analysis, system hardening, malware prevention and/or identity management.
Development skills in a language such as Python and/or Golang.
Core competency in two or more of the following: macOS, Linux, Windows, Google Workspace, Okta, Salesforce, Jira.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a Security Engineer, DevOps or IT Security role.
Practical experience in a BeyondCorp/ZeroTrust model.
Practical experience with Corporate Identity Access Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
