We’re looking for a Manager to join the Snapchat Emerging Sales Team, based in London.

The Emerging Sales team — a group within Snap’s Advertising Solutions organisation — focuses on challenger brands, disruptive business models, and high-growth, high opportunity performance advertisers, which range from some of Snap’s largest customers to early-stage startups.

As a Manager, you’ll act as a business owner to develop the UK Emerging clients.

You will manage a team of Account Executives and Account Analysts based in London. You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and challenge your direct reports; and strong client-facing skills. Market leaders should have a deep understanding of the performance of top accounts at Snap and a point of view on how they would accelerate growth in their vertical over the next year. 

By partnering with your local GM and emerging leadership, you’ll develop a go to market strategy with advertisers of varying maturity levels to deliver substantial revenue growth. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of your region at Snap and be able to inform client teams on trends in that region

  • Manage a team of Account Executives and Account Analysts

  • Build and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners

  • Hold your team accountable to revenue quotas and KPIs

  • Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven measurement strategies

  • Understand broad vertical trends and translate into strategic areas and opportunities to drive growth of the business

  • Determine individual quotas and account lists for team 

  • Develop strategic insights, highlight opportunities, and provide structured reporting on performance in their market or market vertical

  • Define the go to market strategy and be the Snapchat voice in the region

  • Maintain deep expertise on Snapchat products and developments and leverage that understanding to identify cross-selling opportunities relevant to customers’ business goals

  • Conduct market analysis to identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities independently based on a deep understanding of your region and the business strategies of your customers

  • Own reporting and stakeholder management for your region

  • Build a culture of sharing and disseminate best in class work across the team and broader organisation

Knowledge, Skills and ability:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation (internally and externally)

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 8+ years experience in digital media space

  • 3+ years of experience managing a team

  • Can facilitate meetings with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Pre-existing relationships with marketers within the region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Someone who’s up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up

  • Passion for Snap Inc. products and marketing!

  • Strong existing relationships with top marketing decision makers in the industry

  • Extensive knowledge of performance marketing including industry trends, measurement and attribution approaches, and competitive product knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build trust with C-level clients by understanding their business needs and tailoring communications
