We're looking for a Product Designer to help Bitmoji build the future. Working from our Toronto office, you will be part of a small team that designs new features for the Bitmoji application and ecosystem, from proposing initial concepts to ensuring we ship products to the highest standards. In short, you’ll be responsible for making the products that millions of people use every day. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching the product, designing the product (visual design, interaction design, copywriting, prototyping), and communicating the product to the necessary audiences within the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Conceive of innovative new features and pitch those concepts directly to the CEO

• Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams

• Design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows

• Identify the needs of Bitmoji users and improve on existing features

• Help define the short and long-term roadmap for your product area(s)

• Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and product decisions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong user experience, user interface, and visual design skills

• Passion for interaction design and ability to prototype interactive experiences

• An innovator with lots of ideas who sees unique solutions when most would not

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. You’ll be expected to clearly communicate design decisions to leadership, engineers, and other teams

• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy

• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment

• A passion for Bitmoji and Snap Inc. products

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping mobile applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• A portfolio showcasing your work and strong mobile design skills

• Technical background or a familiarity with software engineering

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or similar design tools

• Proficiency in interactive prototyping tools
