We’re looking for a Product Design Intern to join the Product Development and Research team! As a Product Design intern, you will be a core part of a small team that develops new product incubations and experiences, from proposing initial concepts to delivering them to customers. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching the product, designing the product (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and communicating the product to the necessary audiences within the company.

What you’ll do:

• Conceive of innovative new features and pitch those concepts directly to leadership

• Design simple and intuitive application and virtual experiences

• Identify the needs of potential customers and improve on existing features

• Regularly give and receive feedback on design iterations

• Work with other designers, product managers, and engineers to oversee new user experiences from concept to launch

• Communicate design goals and specifications to the engineers responsible for building them

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A portfolio showcasing your work and strong design skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. You’ll be expected to clearly communicate design decisions to leadership, the rest of the team, and to engineers

• Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design

• Ability to prototype interactive experiences, video editing experience, and/or 3D rendering experience is a plus

• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment

• Passion for cutting edge technology and products!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS degree with an anticipated graduation date for Dec 2022 - Aug 2024

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience designing mobile or web applications
