We are looking for a kind, smart, and creative UK based Philanthropy Program Manager to join our Corporate Philanthropy Team. 

Snap Philanthropy’s mission is to empower students from under-resourced communities by supporting equitable access to education and exposure to career pathways in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), while strengthening the cities where we live and work. Working from our London, UK headquarters, you’ll be reporting into a Director in the Office of the CEO (US based), and will work closely with your Snap Philanthropy team members to execute Snap’s philanthropic vision and drive impact within our local communities, globally. As a member of Snap Philanthropy you will partner with the broader Snap team to curate volunteer programs that serve our communities, provide opportunities for team members to give back and cultivate the company’s relationships with nonprofits/NGOs and community stakeholders. You will play a critical role in maintaining, ideating, developing, and scaling our Snap Philanthropy programs in EMEA & APAC in service of our philanthropic mission. We are looking for an incredibly creative, high integrity, strategic thinker with a passion for philanthropy who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and has experience working with team members of all levels (junior to C-Suite). In addition to being organized, analytical, operationally minded and resourceful, the candidate should possess strong event planning, communication, creative and interpersonal skills.

What you'll do: 

  • Partner with our global offices to curate volunteer programs that serve our communities in EMEA & APAC, provide opportunities for team members to give back and nurture the company’s relationships with nonprofits/NGOs and community stakeholders in those regions

  • Partner closely with internal business partners to coordinate grant distribution and facilitate grant agreements with our nonprofit/NGO partners 

  • Measure results and impact to ensure we are always improving the ways in which we serve our local communities 

  • Educate internal teams and employee resource groups on Snap’s philanthropic best practices

  • Work alongside your Snap Philanthropy team members to maintain, develop, and scale our philanthropy programs globally

  • Proactively coordinate initiatives within a fast-paced, creative environment, while maintaining great attention to detail

  • Lead and execute our fun, engaging philanthropic events in EMEA & APAC (in-person and virtually)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Ability to execute against defined objectives and communicate the results clearly and effectively to both nonprofit and corporate teams

  • Experience collaborating and building strong internal and external partnerships throughout all levels of a company

  • Responsive, dedicated and reliable - you pride yourself on your integrity and unwavering commitment to supporting others

  • Clever problem-solver who can thoughtfully anticipate needs, uses good judgment and is resourceful

  • Ability to prioritize workload, effectively deliver under pressure and manage deadlines gracefully

  • Strong work ethic coupled with high enthusiasm and positivity even in challenging moments - you are always endeavoring to accomplish the impossible with an egoless, hands-on approach

  • Experience with event planning

  • Strong familiarity with Google enterprise products (Gmail, calendar, docs) and a passion for implementing technology to increase efficiency 

  • Comfortability working across various time zones  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Philanthropic Studies, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, or at a nonprofit organization/NGO 

  • 3+ years experience and proven success co-designing, program managing and executing volunteer opportunities, ideally in collaboration with hyper local community-based organizations

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with nonprofits/NGOs in the education sector

  • A passion for Snapchat, creativity and the community!

  • Understanding of and experience with Snap Inc.’s philanthropic programs
