We’re looking for a Deep Learning Engineer to join Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
Conceive, design, implement, and evaluate deep learning models and pipelines
Follow cutting edge research and apply findings to help solve challenging product problems
Prototype new ideas and conduct experiments
Collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Engineering teams to design and develop new products
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and implement related academic literature in deep learning
Ability to ideate, conduct, and present academic level research
Ability to prioritize research directions in order to execute against defined objectives
Excellent communication skills
A drive to invent and explore new technologies
Outstanding problem solving skills
Creativity to solve complex problems in new, multi-disciplinary ways
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a related technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of research or industry experience working with state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning, and/or advanced statistical techniques
Proficiency coding in Python
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
Experience in developing deep learning systems in production
Experience applying deep learning techniques to speech or other continuous signal
Experience working within a cloud based environment
