We’re looking for a Lead Sourcer to join our People Team!

  

What you’ll do:

  • Provide front end (finding, sourcing, and phone screening), high volume recruiting support for our specialized engineering roles.

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of roles, team functions, and how they fit into the broader Snap Inc. organization

  • Manage and mentor a team of sourcers by providing performance feedback, career development, and coaching 

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline and help fill the highest priority hiring needs for the company by applying hiring metrics and finding efficient sourcing solutions

  • Use hiring metrics to develop and execute on new and more efficient sourcing solutions 

  • Attend recruiting conferences and events and develop post-event outreach strategies

  • Optimize capacity planning /resourcing for sourcing vertical needs, manage client relationships, work cross functionally to identify sourcing strategies

  • Have a network of and maintain long term relationships with key talent in sourcing vertical

  • Sought out as subject matter expert by internal and external partners; demonstrate advanced expertise including depth in multiple focus areas

  • Provide strong and positive experience to Snap candidates

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience sourcing for a wide array of technology roles, inclusive of specialized and niche positions

  • Demonstrated ability influencing senior leaders

  • Experience tracking metrics and applying data to make decisions inclusive of: hiring timeline, sourcer bandwidth, or offer acceptance rate

  • Experience hitting or exceeding performance goals consistently by using a data driven approach

  • Experience networking, sourcing, and hiring diverse talent globally

  • Experience mentoring junior teammates

  • Experience working in both small and large tech companies

  • A love for solving challenging problems and building programs for scale

  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and operating at speed and with urgency

  • Customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers

  • A sourcing maven, who is able to find untapped talent outside traditional means and engage top talent with your personalized approach

  • Well networked with a deep talent network of diverse talent

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience focused on specialized and niche technical recruiting or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A passion for people and desire to consistently be a positive influence on the community

  • A passion for Snap Inc. and creativity!
