Snap Inc. is a camera company. We believe that reinventing the camera represents our greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Our products empower people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join the Client Core Services team! Client Core Services is a collection of three services and frameworks that all apps of Snap's scale needs: Configuration, Localization, and Error Reporting. These frameworks power over 6 billion decisions per minute to enable Snap engineers to seamlessly scale the app behavior based on over 180 properties like bandwidth available, how often the user engages with a feature, and even ML based properties that predict behavior. The configuration framework ties in with localization and error reporting to personalize the app for our global user base and provide crucial feedback mechanisms to scale our user experience. Working from any of our west coast locations (Los Angeles, Seattle, Mountain View, and San Francisco), you’ll create inventive, data-based approaches to solving difficult business problems.
