We’re looking for a Digital Media Lead to join Snap’s Marketing team. You will be a leader in Marketing’s paid digital media efforts across various campaigns and initiatives to drive adoption and engagement with our platform and products globally. Reporting to the Head of Digital Media, you will manage and work alongside a team of digital media buyers and experts, collaborating with our Marketing team, key stakeholders, and third-party partners.
What you’ll do:
Media Strategy, Planning, and Execution
Day-to-day lead in a three-person team that executes on full-funnel digital media strategies to drive demand and conversion for a wide variety of initiatives and audiences that span Snap's needs around the globe.
Manage the paid media planning and execution of campaigns on media platforms, such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, programmatic, and SEM. Lead the day-to-day working relationships with key media partners, such as Google.
Look across individual campaigns to see delivery trends across initiatives, audiences, and objectives that you can use to enable better and more effective media tactics, creative ideas, and deliverables/assets.
Communicate the media strategies, plans, and results with clarity, simplicity, and brevity to relevant members of the cross-functional marketing team.
Think creatively about how to effectively communicate with our audiences using digital media - ensure that the delivery of our message is as impactful as the message itself
Marketing Integration
Manage the feedback loop between the marketing, media, social, CRM, and analytics teams. Integrate learnings, best practices, and trends in media performance across the different Snap Marketing teams into the team’s planning. Deliver concrete, business-based metrics to product teams and key stakeholders, such as ROI, product shares, and incremental shares.
Work closely with marketers to define audience targets and KPIs on their campaigns, and ensure that we are setting ourselves up to deliver against their objectives. Clearly set the team’s expectations and report on KPIs and business-related measures of success.
Within Marketing, collaborate with Insights, Project Management, Production, and Operations to define the best ways of working on digital media campaigns, establish productive relationships with agency partners (e.g., creative, web, design), and ensure that campaigns are executed flawlessly.
Digital Leadership
Bring forward emerging technologies, platforms, and opportunities to test & learn that will enhance the business impact of our media recommendations and activations. Establish the benefits of various media targeting (e.g., audience, context, time of day)
Ensure that the latest developments in privacy laws in critical global markets are accounted for in all media planning & execution
Uphold creative best practices by platform, KPI, and audience. Define and maintain benchmarks for media performance, transparency, and efficiency
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Track record of creating and executing impactful digital media plans that delivered results and achieved business objectives. Need to have examples of success in a variety of digital media platforms and tactics.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and grow team members
Ability to translate marketing goals into where/when we want to show up with digital media. Need to have examples of when your unique or considered approach to media, audiences, and/or placements defined the success of a campaign.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of digital media planning and buying experience

You have created strong partnerships with key stakeholders and executives in your previous roles
You have outstanding prioritization and delegation skills, the ability to successfully juggle multiple high-level projects, and you excel in a lean and fast paced work environment
