We’re looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join the Snap Lab Computer Vision Team at Snap Inc! 

What You’ll Do:

• Develop novel features for the next generation of AR products

• Design, implement and integrate existing and new machine learning based algorithms for computer vision and augmented reality 

• Research new techniques to improve speed, quality of existing algorithms for computer vision

• Contribute to state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms

• Work with our computer vision team to deliver next-generation detection technology for AR systems (such as face, hand, body etc.)

• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and designers and will develop algorithms to create exciting products and breakthrough interactive experiences. 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Outstanding problem solving skills

• Ability to transform ideas into clean, fast and reliable code

• Team player with great communication skills

• Fluent in English

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience

• Experience working with machine learning methods and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe2 or related frameworks

• Experience with C++ and Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in computer vision, machine learning or related fields

• Solid foundation in computer vision (camera models, multi-view geometry, trigonometry, and/or linear algebra)

• Experience implementing high-performance machine learning algorithms in embedded systems

The annual gross salary (38,5 hours / week) for this position is according to the collective agreement (IT-KV). We are offering a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
