This is a contingent position based upon customer approval and funding.
Position Details and Responsibilities
- Lead penetration testing efforts.
- Develop advanced security scenarios and test systems against those scenarios.
- Design and implement advanced security architectures with custom countermeasures.
- Provide security considerations to system engineering teams to reduce errors, flaws, and vulnerabilities.
- Perform advanced code analysis.
- Conduct advanced protocol analysis to assess nation-state and state-sponsored cyber threat actor capabilities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Security Engineer with supervisory/leadership responsibility.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
- Experience overseeing large teams responsible for planning, analyzing, implementing, and maintaining many different projects.
- Experience in assessing security implementation for cloud and hybrid environments, including pipelines, applications, and services.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to ensure they are followed, utilizing agile methods for scanning and end-to-end vulnerability remediation.
- Assisting in information security planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Managing teams, ensuring they have the appropriate skill sets and align results with objectives.
- Identifying vulnerabilities and recommend effective countermeasures.
- Analyzing networks to ensure appropriate security measures are applied.
- Possess and apply knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Developing and implementing test plans, ensuring proper execution.
- Evaluating costs and benefits of security functions, considering alternatives, engineering trade-offs, and risk treatment decisions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance.

Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
