Position Details and Responsibilities
SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a highly motivated Microsoft InTune Engineer to join the team. This senior-level Windows engineering position provides IT support in configuring and maintain Windows baseline as well as integrating and operating Microsoft Intune for managing and maintaining department endpoints. The preferred candidate will be a senior IT engineer with extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory and maintaining Windows 10 and 11 baselines for workstations and servers. The qualified candidate will manage, maintain, and patch endpoints using Microsoft Intune. Additionally, the preferred candidate should have some experience in providing tier-2 level support for endpoints and virtual desktop services.
The position will have a hybrid telework arrangement with on-site presence one day a week, at a secure government facility.
Work schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Work location and schedule subject to change based on government requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and support the Windows 10 and 11 baselines.
- Perform Tier 3 engineering support to Microsoft’s cloud-based Intune endpoint management system, providing enterprise level app and device management services to desktops, mobile devices and other endpoints.
- Support policy, app and device configuration management for endpoints, including test, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to complex incidents escalated from Tier 2 including service outages and degradations. Interface with vendor and other enterprise support elements as required.
- Provide system security support including threat prevention and reduction, response, and remediation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in computer science or related field and 9 years or more of related experience. Or a Master degree and 7 to 12 years of related experience.
- Significant hands-on experience in configuring, and implementing Windows 10 and 11 baselines
- Significant hands-on Microsoft system administrator experience in the planning, migrating, deploying and maintaining Microsoft 365 services using Intune and MS Entra ID
- Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows client and non-Windows devices
- Experienced with implementing and managing endpoints at scale using MS Intune, Windows Autopilot, and MS Entra ID for endpoint
- Must be a U.S. citizen and must have an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate
- PowerShell scripting and Group Policy management
- Prior work experience supporting U.S. government agencies
