The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) reports to the CEO, and is responsible for driving sustainable growth strategies, focusing on expanding the company’s market presence, increasing profitable revenue streams, and enhancing customer engagement to achieve corporate goals. Primary focus will be on profitable revenue growth, business partnership expansion, contract acquisition, and enhancing the company's competitive position within our current and future markets.
This position works a hybrid schedule and is located in Dulles, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Champion strategic partner, customer, and employee relations which promote value-based business development and internal and external revenue growth.
- Lead/coach members of the Growth and Service Delivery Teams to pursue new business opportunities within the federal government sector.
- Provide focus and leadership to effectively develop and execute the company growth strategy for government contracts, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
- Enhance and/or establish effective processes to enable the successful capture of government contracts from identification to award.
- Build and enhance relationships with key government stakeholders, including agency officials, senior executives, program managers, and contracting officers.
- Keep abreast of government procurement trends, policies, and regulations.
- Lead the team in the development and submission of proposals and bids for government contracts, ensuring compliance with all requirements and guidelines.
- Collaborate with and provide leadership to cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies for contract acquisition.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with other government contractors, subcontractors, and industry associations to enhance the company’s competitive position.
- Facilitate market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the government contracting industry.
- Monitor and track government contract opportunities and build a growing pipeline of potential projects to facilitate corporate growth.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business development/growth.
- Must be a U.S Citizen with an Active TS clearance.
- Experience in a senior growth leadership role within the government contracting industry, driving growth strategies, and securing government contracts.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maturing growth organizations within companies with a revenue of more than $50M and achieving recurring double digit revenue growth rates.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, FAR, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully winning government contracts, with a focus on profitable revenue growth.
- Strong existing relationships in the government contracting industry with customers, strategic partners, competitors, and industry groups.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability, with the capability to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and proposals to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Relevant certifications.
- Experience growing business in the Federal Civilian market segment.
- Asana project management expertise preferred.

The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for an incentive compensation bonus plan.
