WLUK has a great opportunity for you to begin a career in News Content Creation. This Part-time position offers training in video editing on Avid equipment - with the goal of editing visual stories for WLUK FOX 11 Weekend Newscasts. We will also train you on social media content creation and news writing. This is the perfect opportunity for a student pursuing a career in Journalism, Communications, Visual or Social Media content creation.
Job responsibilities include:
- Editing video for weekend news content on air and online
- Taking in news feeds from news bureaus and various news organizations
- Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts
- Meeting deadlines in a high-energy working environment
- Some writing and social media content creation opportunities
