KEYE CBS 42 has a job opportunity for a Temporary part-time Lifestyle Show Host! In this role, you will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet and social networks, along with performing other duties as assigned by the executive producer. Able to work with clients in studio and on location to make the business memorable. It is important to have strong writing skills and to have knowledge of current events. Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must.
Responsibilities Include:
- Professionally co-host our Lifestyle Show by delivering information that is clear and concise for viewers, while providing appropriate unscripted content and engaging interviews
- Working knowledge of the news and events in the local community
- Engaging viewers through posts on social media and station websites
- Contacting/booking and selling client segments
- Excellent interpersonal skills; develops and maintains open and trusting working relationships with people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgment in prioritizing multiple stories and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated organizational skills and must be flexible to multi-task, shift focus, and re-prioritize as the situation dictates
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and to make independent decisions
- Excellent written communication skills
- Be proficient with newsroom systems such as iNews
- Producing/Shooting and editing experience is preferred
- Previous anchoring and/or reporting experience is preferred
- Live and recorded in-studio or Zoom segments, as well as on-location live shots and shoots.
