CM/DM Analyst

Overview:

SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join our team on-site at NAVAIR PAX River, MD to support the Software Engineering Department Support Services (SEDSS) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Managers Air (PMAs) by performing CM coordination and administration for Hardware/Software Compatibility Matrices (HSCMs).

Clearance:

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

- At least five years performing CM for DoD weapon systems or platforms.
- Experience supporting Technical Directive creation, review, and publication.
- Experience scheduling and supporting JCCBs.
- Demonstrated understanding of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) ECP processes.
- Familiarity with HSCMs.
- Familiarity with database processes.

Responsibilities:

SimVentions is looking for a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst with experience with HSCMs. The CM Analyst will act as a liaison to the HSCM Chief Engineer and Class Desk to coordinate on requirements, tasking, and release cycles. The CM Analyst will also track and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) inputs to Program Office and system vendor Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) documentation, support Joint Configuration Control Boards (JCCBs) and technical review meetings. This position will also require use of the Program Office Engineering Change Management (ECM) tool to manage folder structures, support review workflows, adjudicate review comments, obtain signatures as needed, and maintain the master copy for HSCM documentation.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- BA or BS degree
- CM certification (e.g. Certified Change Management Professional® or similar)
- Experience performing database account management, data import, and data export

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $78,902-$110,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
