We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communications skills, a passion for continuous process improvement, and a collaborative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment. You will help shape the future of our wireless networking products.

What You'll Do:
- Lead and grow a high performing team that designs and develops applications for resource-constrained embedded devices
- Serve as both a SME and technical mentor to design, develop, integrate, and test software for a range of wireless networking protocols
- Set high technical, security, and quality bars for the team by leading architecture, design and code reviews
- Closely collaborate and clearly communicate with global teams of Software Engineers, Project Managers, and Product Managers
- Plan and closely manage the execution of software releases to ensure timely delivery of bug-fixes and new features
- Nurture a culture within the team of continuous process improvement and adoption of metrics
- Collaborate with software quality teams to develop test plans and assure high-quality software delivery
- Work with Engineering Management and Project Management to communicate, coordinate, and manage team priorities and commitments
- Work alongside Applications Engineers to understand customer applications, uses-cases, issues, and help provide effective solutions
- Improve our software engineering processes from long-term planning to stand-ups
What You Bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience working with teams in different geographic locations
- Experience implementing engineering processes that emphasize quality, security and maintainability
- Experience working with wireless microcontrollers on real-world applications
- Minimum 10 years of experience primarily with embedded engineering projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience writing unit, integration, and system-level tests
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading software teams
Extras Considered a Plus:
- Advanced experience with 802.15.4 and/or Bluetooth applications
- Advanced experience with CI systems such as Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
