Job Summary

We are looking for associate staff engineer to join our global IT team and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. You will be working with an IT Team who manage our cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will also be involved in developing and executing automation and infrastructure as code strategies, as well as providing technical guidance and support to other IT teams and stakeholders.

• Managing and improving CI/CD processes.
• Proactive management of Azure architecture including managing cost
• Proactive management of data storage, including strategies for hot/cold storage, archiving strategies, backup, DR etc.
• Overall Maintenance and Health of the Azure environment including VMs.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues and incidents and ensure root cause analysis and preventive actions are performed.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and trends and provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects and initiatives and ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Prepare and maintain IT infrastructure documentation, reports, and metrics.
• Test and adopt new containerization strategies.

• 5+ years' experience as Azure Cloud Solutions Architect
• 5+ years' experience delivering or supporting data warehouse solutions in the Azure Cloud environment
• Senior-level Azure Data Factory engineering and development skills - with the ability to manage Integration Runtime activity and performance.
• Senior-level experience managing Azure DevOps pipelines, releases, and repositories, including CI/CD processes within Azure PaaS landscape
• Advanced SQL coding skills (T-SQL) - including building stored procedures
• Experience with Networking, Azure EntraID, Active Directory and Window servers (Azure and On-Prem VMs).
• Strong knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure security, compliance, and governance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

• Solid programming skills in PowerShell, Python, C# or other equivalent modern programming language.
• Senior-level familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks and Azure-hosted databases .
• Experience working in Semiconductor industry
• Deep understanding of how Azure processes run "under the covers" and how choosing one design paradigm over another effects efficiency and runtime costs.
