As the VP / Senior Director of CloudSecurity Operations, you will be the senior leader responsible for ensuring theoperational cybersecurity of the organization's global public cloud Software asa Service.

  • Oversee team responsible for cloud incident response, including cybersecurity for SaaS products. Responsibilities include monitoring, attack detection and proactive threat hunting.
  • Cloud Security Strategy: Developing and implementing security strategies specific to SaaS environments.
  • Compliance: Staying abreast of industry standards and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Engineering: Responsible for SIEM engineering to enhance run-time security, threat detection, alerting and event management.
  • Cloud Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI): Responsible for monitoring and responding to global threat networks and alerts resulting in predictive and reactive response. Staying informed about emerging threats and trends. You'll analyze threat intelligence data and correlate it with our environment to proactively address risks.
  • Enterprise Vulnerability Management: Managing vulnerability assessments and remediation across our cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with teams to address security gaps and ensure timely patching.
  • Security Capability Development: Collaborating with cross-functional teams - including product management, development, and development operations - to enhance security capabilities. This includes evaluating and implementing new security tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Cloud Perimeter Operations: Ensuring the security of our cloud network perimeter. You'll oversee access controls, firewalls, and other security measures.
  • Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR): Integrating SOAR solutions to automate incident response workflows. You'll streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Designated Cybersecurity Officer (CSO) for the Digital Industries Foundational Services team to include roles and responsibilities as set forth by Siemens regulations.

Qualifications:

Experience: You should haveextensive experience (8+ years) in leading cloud security operations teamssupporting Software as a service.

Leadership: Proven ability tolead and manage teams effectively including recruiting top talent and providingsuccessful career pathing and talent management.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Splunk (8+years) and other SIEM technologies, cloud security operations, threatdetection, security incident response, enterprise detection blueprint andSoftware as a Service.

Partner Management: Very experienced inevaluating cybersecurity and cloud security technologies including SIEM, rootcredential management, file integrity monitoring, container security logging,API Security, and cloud configuration and deviation identification.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to developand execute security strategies aligned with business goals.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with variousstakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience. Cybersecurity certifications preferred but not required.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is$197,700 to $355,900 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation.The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education/training.
