The company is seeking a new Vice President of Solutions tobuild and lead a Solutions group within the Digital Design Creation Platform(DDCP). The role has global responsibility and leads a core team of ~15solutions engineers with broad knowledge of the digital design creation flowbased in the US, Morocco, India, and Taiwan. The position reports to theGeneral Manager of DDCP, Siemens EDA.

The role may be based atSiemens' offices in Portland, OR, or Fremont, CA (SF Bay Area).

Responsibilities

  • Benchmark and deploy a competitive digital platform for the DDCP business and portfolio of products, comprising of high-level synthesis, FPGA and logic synthesis, place & route, static timing analysis, end-to-end power optimization and analysis, power-integrity signoff, and Test & Silicon Lifecycle Management.
  • Manage named customer deployments as the liaison between the product segment, Sales and customer to drive successful business outcomes and meet aggressive financial growth targets.
  • Provide relevant feedback to product development to drive innovation. Serve as the primary executive contact representing the product line with customer executives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent. Develop and nurture a reputation for delivery, innovation, and excellence with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, ComputerScience, or similar from an accredited institution.
  • Business leadership experience in theelectronics or semiconductor industry, including experience with largecompetitive replacements.
  • Experience and detailed understanding ofsemiconductor development processes and related technology tools
  • Experience and a track record of distinctivegrowth leadership in land & expand campaigns at focus customers
  • Minimum of 20 years of professional experiencein the electronics and/or semiconductor industries, with at least 5 years ofexperience in product management or engineering leadership roles.
  • Expertise in EDA or similar software technology,with detailed experience in synthesis, test, place and route, power analysis,and static timing analysis, is a plus.
  • Experience developing commercial and innovationstrategies in a complex, global environment.
  • Experience with developing formal productinnovation requirements; able to use consumer insights and analytics to supportdecisions. An inspirational people leader with the ability to recruit, develop,and retain a high-performing team.
  • Able to influence others through both direct andindirect networks; a consensus builder and change agent.
  • A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding, andproactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; a natural biasfor action.

The salary range for this position is $234,500 to $375,200and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
