About the role / Segment
- We are seeking a motivated, responsible and qualified Engineer to join our IC Design Solutions R&D Team in Yerevan, Armenia.
Area of responsibility
- The incumbent will prepare and analyze / interpret results on various test cases.
- Work in collaboration with R&D, PE/AE team to find solutions to found issues.
- Understand modeling approach (including gridding methods) and come up with possible improvements recommendations.
- Depending on this person background, responsibilities might include
- Suggest improvements in modeling methods
- In modeling thermal/mechanical properties of composite materials
- In domain gridding (meshing) methodologies for numerical analysis
Your qualifications
- MS+ in Physics/Math/CS or related
- Familiarity with thermal and/or mechanical analysis , related numerical methods
- Knowledge of algorithms like finite element/volume method is desired
- Good knowledge of English is required to collaborate with colleagues overseas
- Familiarity with simulation software (Siemens tools - Flotherm, FloEFD, ... or others - ANSYS, COMSOL, ...) is a plus
- Familiarity with scripting languages desired
