About the role

As a Polarion Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in demonstrating the value of Siemens Polarion and its interoperability with other solutions such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Your expertise will help customers understand how our solutions can optimize their business processes, leading to confident decision-making and successful partnerships. What about main challenges?

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their specific business needs and requirements across different industries.
  • Solution Demonstration: Present and demonstrate the capabilities of Polarion in customer-specific contexts, showcasing best practices and the solution's value proposition.
  • Technical Consultation: Participate in deep dive workshops, benchmarks, and technical discussions to provide comprehensive insights into Polarion and related solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored presentations and proposals that address customer challenges and objectives.
  • Support Sales Cycle: Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and responses to customer inquiries, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
  • Market Feedback: Channel voice-of-customer feedback to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and feature enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical sales, technical consulting, or a related role with a focus on ALM solutions as Polarion, Code Beamer, JAMA, and IBM ELM with insight of PLM solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Siemens Polarion is preferred, its integration capabilities, and related industry solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with customers at all levels, including individual contributors and C-level executives, as well as collaboration with internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Team Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Language Proficiency: Highly proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English, demonstrating advanced language skills for effective communication in diverse settings.
  • Willing to Travel: Readily available for short-term travel as needed.
